Their ongoing efforts include establishing and supporting the Smokey Mountain Learning Center, a crucial initiative providing a second chance through the Alternative Learning System (ALS) for out-of-school youth. This addresses a fundamental barrier to education, offering a pathway for those who might otherwise be left behind.
Understanding that development is holistic, JCI Manila recently completed the renovation and turnover of the Smokey Mountain Youth Center (on May 23, 2025). This transformed a humble space into a 3-in-1 multi-sport court for basketball, futsal, and volleyball.
