In light of the growing trend of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) framework, there has been a notable awakening to the significance of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). Minority groups now possess a stronger platform within their respective companies, advocating for greater inclusivity. This momentum has been further fueled by International and Regional policies of Multinational and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) firms operating in the Philippines. The various minority groups are doing advocacy programs in silos now, our collective aspiration is to extend this impetus, particularly towards fostering a more inclusive environment for minority hiring within Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs). 
 

It is with immense pride Junior Chamber International Manila is co-hosting of the inaugural Philippines Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Summit, slated for April 17, 2024, at Marco Polo Hotel, Ortigas. 
 

In collaboration with Precious Works of Different-Abled Enterprise (PWDe), a dynamic non-stock, non-profit organization dedicated to facilitating livelihood and employment opportunities for marginalized individuals, particularly persons with disabilities (PWDs), we endeavor to amplify the impact of our efforts. Over the years, PWDe has spearheaded empowerment initiatives and orchestrated successful Bazaars in prominent malls, thereby aiding PWD entrepreneurs in expanding their market reach. 
 

We are honored to announce the esteemed participation of Senator Risa Hontiveros and Department of Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco as confirmed keynote speakers for the summit. The event aims to champion the cause of inclusivity in the workplace, with a specific focus on empowering minority groups such as Persons with Disabilities, Senior Citizens, Women, LGBTQIA+, Indigenous Peoples, and Religious Minorities.
